Spirituality and science

I am again here after months of contemplating, back to penning down my thoughts so to say, middle of the night. I very honestly want readers to this blog but think of myself as another common man who has something to say but fews ears that will listen to. Writing helps me sometimes streamline my thoughts and it helps my ADHD. I am not a psychologist, guru or any expert… this blog is not a self help blog. When reading it I would just like to you to think of me with yourself just as confused and curious.

So on today’s topic of spirituality, It fascinating to me how I stumbled upon this topic to be very honest. I was randomly scrolling a math video. Yes math and you might wonder how math ( mostly a topic that atheists love) and spirituality have in common. I say spirituality and not religion because I have started to believe one thing… One believes in God and follows religion.

But first on math, I say following… you might have seen the symbol ♾️ somewhere sometime. It means infinite, indefinite or and extremely large number . It’s surprising how we have accepted this concept and also the concept of 0. 0 is basically absence of something. 0 is defined in reference to something else. Same way infinity also is a concept. No two ♾️ are same… for example ♾️ + 1 = ♾️. But we know that between the two numbers, there is a difference of 1. It is defined by the fact there exists a number but we simply cant describe it. It could also be multiple numbers at the same time if study the rules of calculus. Not to complicate things but you get what I mean? As believers of science we believed this imaginary structure and are making marvellous things out of it… but we cant accept that there is God? For those who accept God but say modern findings of science are sham…. What can I say except… according to you all of last 2000 yrs of human history including many of modern religions is a sham. Which cant be true can it?

Science and spirituality are two sides of same coin. And both prosper because of curiosity and human humility that there is something more out there / in here (ourselves) that we could figure out.

Religion was a set if rules set up by humans based on their spiritual awakening to guide mankind to lead a better life as a social animal. That is why religion is followed its a discipline… God is not a discipline… in mathematical terms… God is a concept we must believe in because it exists. We just dont know how god looks like.

Since childhood, when we dont know how something looks like or work, we end up making it like ourselves…I used to ask my mom where were the parents for anything and everything I saw. For eg: the chair, the cars, my toys..etc. Kids name their toys and make imaginary food for them, feed them too, their toys have emotions as well. Arent we doing the same thing with god as full grown adults?

So why not unite and just have spiritual growth without fighting over whose god is better? Why not stick to your own discipline for your own self without imposing it on others and feeling great about ourselves for making others do it? Why not be curious about growth?

1 cut vs 1000 cuts

  Death by 1 big cut Vs Death by 1000 tiny cuts I just want to talk about trauma today. I am not a psychologist and this is not a self help blog! So I try to pen my feelings, sometimes very abstract in the blogs.  When someone kills with a 1000 cuts, its NOT the 1st or 2nd or the last cut that kills… its in fact the Action of frequent cutting that kills.  Thats where we go wrong…we compare the cut size and keep wondering why its lethal… instead of looking at the action.  The worse part is, that tiny cuts present a hope that they will heal some day. But can that happen automatically?? Can they ever heal if the next cut comes before the previous cut heals?  Everyone and every trauma has a different healing speed based on where we are in life and what the nature of trauma is. If you keep burning your hand at the same spot with the same intensity every single day, is the burn every gonna heal??  Why is mental hurt any different then from a physical hurt?? ...

My view on God

Yes I know God is a sensitive Topic and a very personal topic for everyone. And rightly so!! Everyone has the right to have their own image of God. Because it lies within the scope of freedom of thought and belief, which is & should be a fundamental right. So with this said, my thoughts about God are that, God is a term used to define/describe anything and everything that we do not have the capacity to understand. Humans have always been explorers and tried to expand their knowledge base. But it still has its boundaries. Anything that lies beyond those boundaries, is for me "God". My Future, the society, the creation of mankind, where we go after death, also my own Body, unknown ways to me how my body functions! That can all be termed as God. Basically the unknown is God.
