Breaking the circle
As we gain more experience it becomes evident, that mistakes happen. You, your parents, their parents have all taken some steps that have influenced the way you are. That is social and physical evolution. I mean if the apes didn't discover using thumbs, we wouldn't have been at this stage in human evolution. Same way, somethings your grandparents did to your parents made you who you are. Some things are hardwired in your DNA literally. Its not a blame game. Its just a fact. in Hinduism we have something called Pitrudosha. It means curse of some dead relative. Astrology says that, some have it strong, some have it weak. My logic says that everyone has some effects of curse of the dead relatives, but they are able to identify it better and break the Circle better. So if it is boiling down to breaking the circle, it just means Find a problem and fix the problem. And try to not let it pass down. It's also to know that no matter what, you are going to pass something down. But somethings you can definitely do to identify and break the goddamn circle. How? Well I am still figuring it out. "In your drive to escape Toxicity make it clear to yourself that you aren't doing the same thing to someone else...break the circle". My best Idea here is, identify what toxic behaviours are you facing from the society, well that should be identifiable isn't it? Of course we need to ask that to ourselves.
What Jordan Peterson brilliantly explains in his lectures is start with cleaning your room. That is a brilliant place to start breaking the circle. The below video is full of gems of ideas. simply brilliant.
The link below is not only serving the purpose of me sharing with any reader. But also a way to summarize for myself and add it as a bookmark whenever I want to access it again. As I told you, my blog is Not a Self Help blog, its a collection of thoughts.
